About me
I’m the author of seven novels, women’s fiction and suspense, including Words, which won the Christy Award for Best First Novel and was a Christy finalist for Best Contemporary Standalone. My novels have received honors including of Book of the Year from Foreword Reviews and RT Book Reviews.
A developmental editor and coach, I founded Words for Writers to offer inspiration and instruction. My offerings have grown to include the course Your Novel: From Premise to Published, the Fiction Crafters Cohort, and the Words for Writers podcast. I also serve as conference director for West Coast Christian Writers.
I’m fueled by my relationship with Jesus, black coffee, good books, relationships with my adult children and circle of dear friends, and a ridiculous love for Henry Higgins, the dog who rules my world.
